Watson Land Company built its Corporate Headquarters to the highest attainable Platinum level of the LEED rating system. The two-story, corporate office building in Carson, CA was constructed on a steel frame with pre-cast concrete panels and features one level of subterranean parking.


The building’s design employs various innovative sustainability solutions including a high performance building envelope, roof mounted solar PV panels, high efficiency HVAC and lighting systems, enhanced daylight harvesting, and eco-friendly material selections.


The building was designed and constructed to achieve a LEED Platinum level certification under the LEED for New Construction v3 2009 Rating System, which maintains the following credit categories:
